Business Accomplishments:
L.V.
Surveying, Inc. is a Female Business Enterprise for numerous
entities who are head quartered in downtown Cleveland. Creative
initiatives of 2004 include moving my company into The City of
Cleveland. Our move has made us more accessible to those who
need us.
L.V.
Surveying, Inc. is now located between three major highways
giving the field crews easy access to all points of Cuyahoga
County and the surrounding counties. This has allowed us to
expand our service area and cut down on the time and expense of
getting to our clients.
The
overall office are has expanded from 900 square feet to
approximately 1500 square feet giving us room to hire future
employees.
In 2004
we were able to lobby and get a contract with Ryan Homes, a
nationally known home builder. We are currently working with
them on a 50 home subdivision with the hope of more to come.
Also in
2004 we were able to team with two other survey firms to perform
the large task of mapping all City of Cleveland land along the
Lake Erie now being leased to O.D.N.R. This was an enormous
survey undertaking, requiring many survey companies. L.V.
Surveying, Inc. was responsible for two of the sites, East 55th
Street Marina and East 72nd Street Maintenance
Garage. For our work on this project we received a national
award (see Honors & Accomplishments).
In 2003 I
hired an additional full-time draftsperson. She has enabled us
to supply additional services to our clients. We are able to
prepare complete plans in our office for site development and
improvement plans.
We
recently redesigned our website and as a result have been able
to reconnect with clients who have “lost” us as a result of the
move.
During
hard economic times and harsh weather conditions L.V. Surveying,
Inc. has continued to strive.
